My journey into understanding cancer began when my son, Lander, was diagnosed with stage four. As a parent, I’ve devoted myself to staying on top of the side effects of his treatment and researching ways to improve his health.

One compound that I believe made a positive impact is curcumin. I’ve been giving Lander curcumin regularly and writing about its potential benefits for years.

Ralph Moss, Ph.D., a cancer research writer, recently delivered a talk on curcumin that brought a study to my attention that I hadn’t seen before.

This research from England studied end-stage metastatic cancer patients and is only a couple of years old. The findings are incredibly promising:

Curcumin Combined with FOLFOX Chemotherapy Is Safe and Tolerable in Patients with Metastatic Colorectal Cancer in a Randomized Phase IIa Trial

Read the complete study here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6602900/

In short, the study showed that combining curcumin with FOLFOX chemotherapy was safe and well-tolerated in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. Patients taking curcumin lived 302 days longer on average—a nearly one-year extension of life just by taking a couple of pills a day. Why this isn’t being widely publicized is baffling.

Curcumin has shown its effectiveness and safety in numerous studies, particularly in killing cancer stem cells:

Curcumin and Cancer Stem Cells: Curcumin Has Asymmetrical Effects on Cancer and Normal Stem Cells

Find the study here: https://ar.iiarjournals.org/content/35/2/599

This research highlights curcumin’s selective cytotoxic effects on cancer stem cells while having minimal toxicity on normal stem cells. Curcumin could be a potential therapeutic agent for targeting cancer stem cells without harming healthy cells.

The evidence is compelling, and I believe that curcumin deserves more attention in cancer treatment. So let’s raise awareness and share this information to benefit patients and their families.

The curcumin supplement we have used and carry in Lander’s Corner is UltraCur.

I know Adam Payne and Josh Bellieu, and I consider them friends and valuable allies in our mission to overcome cancer. UltraCur is the best bioavailable form of curcumin I’ve come across without a close second.

***Ultracur does not treat or cure cancer***

Curcumin, however scientifically proven to be a tool for health. Dr. Moss recommends and takes Life Extention. I think there are plenty of supplements to choose from based on the price needed, and including it in the diet cooking with fat, fenugreek, and black or white pepper is a bonus.

Talk to your doctor, they may not be aware of these incredible findings!
